Ride on Tire Balancer and Sealant for Utv Reviews

  1. Any of y'all use Ride-On Sealant/Balancer? I assemble you are supposed to take any bike weights off after you install the stuff. But I'm wonder if anyone left the weights on and how that turned out.
  2. 2 of the guys I rode to Sturgis with this yr used Ride On. They had no complaints. I apply Dyna beads, and have no complaints. I wouldn't ADD it to already balanced tires because information technology'south just extra expense. As for the puncture sealing power of Ride on, I know goose egg.
  3. I put that sealant in my rear wheel back in the summertime to seal a pin hole leak,
left the weight on, no leak and no rest problem.

Did you remove the existing balance weights? Did you notice yous and the OP take the same wheel??
  5. I did. Don't know how many of that color philharmonic they made but I've seen several. Heard by ane guy he idea it was fairly rare but I doubt information technology. Unless information technology's a bad luck combo and most are wrecked already.
  6. I utilise Ride-On Tire Sealant and Balancer in both my bikes. Was formerly a "Dyna-Beads" abet, but the boosted puncture proofing characteristic of the Ride-On sold me.

    Notes:

    one.) I removed all weights.

2.) Check if your wheel weights are exactly straight across from each other on either side of the wheel. If they are off-set, then yous have an Centric imbalance, that neither Ride-On nor Dyna Beads will resolve. These products act on Radial imbalance, not Axial (side to side). If you take a astringent Axial imbalance, you likely hit something, or have a defective wheel. If yous have a spoked rim, then you demand to true the wheel.

iii.) With the Ride-on, I went to Domicile Depot and bought a human foot long piece of clear tubing, which made the installation xx X easier. Tube supplied with the kit is too brusk, IMO.

four.) Make sure you get the right corporeality in. I just propped up the squeeze canteen upright and allow the remaining stuff drip to the bottom after a while. So a quick final clasp and you get the remainder out.

5.) This stuff only works in alpine, thin motorcycle tires, not in low contour car tires. It just coats the portion of the tire that contacts the road when the bike is upright, not the sidewalls.

vi.) It does work in tubed tires, but is only near 65% effective (as compared to tubeless tires). Better than null sez me!

vii.) This production is NOTHING like Slime or other strictly tire sealants. It is NOT corrosive to rims, and it becomes a layer of removable, flexible gel when ready. Yous tin - if you wish - remove it and transfer it to another tire if you wanted to.

If you lot read the Cyberspace reviews, the bulk of the "negative" reviews are oddly from folks who have never tried it, and also misfile information technology with "Slime" type products. I as well observe that most "negative" reviwewers seem to take either used it improperly, or have used information technology on the incorrect style tire (Wide). Aforementioned equally in Dyna beads reviews.

I think it works great. Smooth as drinking glass ride, zero vibrations, etc. I also come across nearly 25% more than tire life, which I attribute to the elimination of vibrations.

Can't say anything virtually punctures, as I haven't had whatsoever. There are many YouTube videos displaying tests on the puncture characteristic, which expect impressive plenty for me. If it saves one single blow-out on the superhighway, it's worth information technology.. sez me!:D

  7. That sounds adept but I have a question on your number ii statement. When you lot say wheel weights across from each other. Which are you referring. A weight at the bottom has a weight at the height, or a weight on the right side has a weight on the left?

Also I've had 2 blowouts at highway speeds and it is not fun. That's why I'm going with this stuff. Getting set to put new front and rear on so want to do it right.

  8. Weight on the right side and a weight on the left. If they are directly across the rim from each other, and evenly weighted... good. If they are noticeably offset, you lot have an centric imbalance. Rim is skewed out of alignment, bent, etc. If it is a spoked wheel, information technology needs truing.

I'one thousand 100% sold on the Ride-On production BTW. Won't get out abode without information technology!

  9. I just put new tires on my ultra forepart and rear removed all the wheel weights-installed 90 caste valve stems then added the proper corporeality of ride on co-ordinate to their chart aired upward the tires to factory specs and went for a twenty mile ride.I cannot believe how smoothen this has made my ultra from a rolling first to 100mph information technology is glass smooth best investment i have made in years.not to mention my last rear tire had a blast magnet nosotros volition about the flat tire affair soon

Okay got it Bob. Thank you. I've been using a tire sealant already on other bikes but this is the first time I'm going with Ride-On with this wheel.
